Getting started on creating your course

How to start on your course creation?

 

Start with an outline, this way you can write down the points you know you want to hit. First start with your modules. Let’s say you want to teach a course about applying acrylic nails, your first module may be “Introduction to acrylic nails”.

 

Module 1: Intro to acrylic nails

Module 2: Health & safety

Module 4:

Module 5:

Module 6:

Module 7:

 

After you’ve figured out your modules, go into each one and write down your lessons. You can  also decide if you want to include a quiz or assignment to that module (we recommend it).

To finish your outline, go into further detail about the points you want to talk about in your lessons. Also, you can decide how you want that lesson to be formatted. Do you want it to be a slide presentation? A lecture where you just talk about your points? A demonstration? Use the outline to get your thoughts together and ideas jotted down.
